The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Here is one I bought recently from Craig at Howard Hill Archery. It is a copy of Howard Hills hunting quiver. Craig had someone in Germany make them for him. Nice quality.

In January I went to Bob Wesley's class and had a great time. He helped my shooting out big time. Bob has Howards hunting quiver that is just like this one. While I was there Bob had me use that quiver since he wanted me to also practice shooting with one. When I got back home I saw this on Craig's web site and had to get it. If nothing else it will remind me of Bob Wesley, a man I like and admire very much.

3Feathers, there are a lot of beautiful back quivers out there but remember that how the back quiver fits is most important.  A back quiver that you can't easily get your arrows out of, is worthless in my opinion.

BQ's rock right David? Great job showing exactly what you;re after when using one. Notice how the bq grips the arrows when he is kneeling. Some real nice beauts above! Here's mine;

Heres my old quiver that i made some 35 yrs ago, i never go to the woods or range without it, its  like slipping on a second skin. With a little love and leather conditioner a good quiver will last a lifetime. [/IMG]

Nice quiver Gil, I been eye'in that on Craig's site. Pretty good deal if its as sturdy as it looks. Hows it lay on the back, pretty plyable?

Hi Eric, it is real nice quality.

Craig is selling them for what it cost him to have them built. It lays nice on the back. Give him a call and talk to him about it before you make up your mind. They are made by Legend Stick in Germany.

Bob Wesley told me I should fold it where it bends along the back and put something heavy on it for a while to soften it up there. Another old Hill tip. I haven't done it yet but it still lays nice.
