Thanks for all the input, guys. I hunt primarily public land, so I'm reluctant to set up serious blinds ahead of time. There aren't many worse feelings than setting up a blinds and finding someone else in it on opening day. So, I'm going with a collapsable seat that I can easily pack in and out. I'm also steering away from seats that must be leaned or strapped to a tree, since some of the deeriest (fake word) spots I hunt are old clearcuts and trees are hard to come by. Waldrop seems to be in the lead right now, so I'm leaning that way, but I'm not completely sold yet.
