I used to hunt camo all the time but am using more plaids these days. Only thing is that I have a lot of camo and relatively little plaid. All my plaid is just too hot for early bow season in GA.

Believe it or not,  I was hunting javelina in Texas years back with a former bowyer / outfitter.  One of the rules of the ranch was that you had to be dressed.  As Jeff Foxworthy says. . . is this rule really necessary ?  Evidently it was. . .   and in cactus country no less.

I usually just hunt in whatever is clean or convenient in some cases.

I shot a doe on public land a several years back after work. I had little time before dark and happened to have my bow in the back seat of my truck.

Climbed into my stand with khaki pants and a blue polo shirt and loafers. 30 minutes later......doe down. :-)

My camo is so old,I could never part with it.I even have some World War two stuff,it would be like losing an old friend. It is faded just enough to match the Alabama woods.

I like both. A young friend gave me a full set of Army Multicam and I love it. I also have some of Fred Asbell's wool in plaid and love that too.

Predator is excellent as is natgear - KOM blow down is best woll camo - but I wear leafys and gillies more often than anything else. Like kakis and plain shirts for urban hunting. Camo is more for the animals you don't see like turkeys coyotes antelope - if you are seeing these regularly under 20 yards deer bears and hogs will be easy.

I use both, Asat when it's warm and have several Asbell pullovers for cooler to cold.

No wool hate the stuff . Some flannel shirts cheap camo shirts and sweat shirts . Old army coat for cold days . Mostly tan or green carpenter pants and cheap earth color or camo t shirts.

I use camo most all the time.  I like some of the plaids but don't own any of them.  I've had good luck with the cammies including the woolens in the cold weather days.

Although I don't really need it, I am considering an Asbell pullover this year if I can scrape up a few extra bucks.  They look good and I think they would be comfortable.

I use both but I'm really starting to like Carhart pants and a plaid sort.

If I went natural, I wood bag a lot more deer, as they would die from laughter!
Mostly camo... ghillie and realtree stuff.  Sometimes I go with carharts and flannel. Feels a lot more trad that way, for sure.

I wear camo all the time. Prefer Predator. Still have some Treebark. Can't wear wool.

Whatever is clean, ready, and the right weight for the temps.  I have nothing against camo and own a bunch but plaid or just muted solids work fine.  Movement is what usually gives me away.  I spent my youth sneaking up on animals with jeans and whatever Tshirt  or sweatshirt I had on that day.  I will say plaid looks cooler in pictures or when you greet some other guys at the trailhead - nothing wrong with enjoying the image part of traditional bowhunting a bit :^)

I have always worn camo because when I started hunting 10 years ago I thought that is what you had to have to be successful. I also have never owned any flannels until a couple years ago. Last year I shot my biggest buck while wearing a red and black Asbell sweater and a blaze orange vest (bowhunting during rifle season).
