Sore Finger
«

My middle finger has been getting stiff lately and has a bit of a hitch in it after I shoot my bow for a couple of hours. I use a glove. Is there any advantage to using a tab? Does it cause less stress on your individual fingers? I shoot three under. Thanks!

Try a thicker glove.

I believe you are not using equql pressure on the string. The middle finger is your strongest and is holding most of the bow weight. I had the samei issue but switched to a tab for awhile. Then I got a glove from American Leathers. The one called Big shot. That has helped me. The tab I use is a BlacK Widow with the slick leather. I like a tab in the summer. I carry both with me.

A couple hours of shooting is a lot. You might just be wearing it out.

I'll try distributing the weight a little more, maybe even holding that finger up when I pull back and then resting it gently for a while. It's worth trying some different gloves and tabs. Thanks!
