A few shots from the Cloverdale shoot
« on: June 10, 2012, 06:33:00 PM »
I just got back from the Cloverdale shoot today, perfect weather all weekend for this shoot this year. Saw alot of old freinds and made some new ones. Cloverdale is always a great escape for 4-5 days for me. Hopefully I can get these short video clips and photobucket to work

I snuck this one of "hackbow" when I caught up to him on the range. (click picture for video)

our camps bow tree

Adeeden jr. lightening the mood!

I have took a picture of my little one in front of a moose target every year he has been, Its kind of fun to see his growth rate each year by how high on the moose he is in the new picture!

I had a blast and I will be back again next year. The club at Cloverdale does one heck of a job with this shoot every year and I can't thank them enough.

There was even some justin beaver look-a-like guy hanging around for meatfest!

Man that video makes me look fat  :)   It was nice to hang out at CDale again with all the old guys.  And man are we getting old.  This was my 13th or 14th one and they have all been a blast.  I even hit the bonus 13 coyote target.  We won't talk about the rest of my "scoring".
Take a kid hunting!

My little one claimed he couldn't miss when we started the course Saturday, because he and Gary Davis found a four leaf clover while shooting areials the night before and Gary shoved it in his quiver.

I guess it worked for awhile!

Dennis I was hoping to meet up with you at the shoot. If you was right behind Darren and John then we probably walked right by each other. Maybe next go round.

Kris, I was behind John and Darren on the last ten only I think. But yes it does seem we keep missing each other, maybe one of these days we will run into each other. Hopefully my schedule will allow me to make the southern Indiana hunt one of these years!

I really like the bow rack.  Is it 2 inch pvc in a aframe shape with pegs?  If so how is the top held together?  If not what is it made of?

Thanks.

.               It's just some 2 by 2 lumber screwed together at the top and an assortment of pegs for bows and quivers and such. About a $5 project!

I was finally able to camp and attend this year and had a great time.  No rain during the event has to be a good omen of things to come.
