I have a bunch of old Ace broadheads that I use. Squirrels are tough. I have hit them with blunts and they get away. Blunts are great on rabbits.

i make mine homemade. take a shot casing, drill out the primer part, and put a field point in. the tip of the field point sticks out the drilled hole. and now you have a blunt that has alot of punch.
OH BOY IS THIS GREAT!

After having a number of gray squirrels escape to cover with fatal body shots from a number of different "small game" heads, I won't shoot them with anything but old broadheads. It does limit the type of shots I'll take, however.

If you've never tried them, you wouldn't know, but the G5 Small Game Head is the killingest small game head I've ever used and I've owned them all.

EFA Talons for squirrels, small birds and bunnies, Bear Razorheads for woodchucks.
Just one more step please!

Blunted snuffers with a scorpio for bunnies, works great.  Rubber blunts for grouse and ptarmigan.  I like the G5's with a scorpio too for bunnies.
