Big Broadheads questions
« on: June 14, 2012, 07:00:00 PM »
Hey i too want a bigger broadhead. I shoot the zwickey delta 4blade. I wish zwickey would make a 1 7\\16 or 1 1/2 and heavier than 135grs. After I sharpen them i lose 15grs. Im looking at the ace super express. Do any of you shoot it and how do you sharpen it? I shoot a grizz stick alaskan full length.

I shoot the Delta to, but use a 100 steel adapter in it, would that be to heavy of a head for your setup?

Mountain Man, Haven't tried the 200s but have the 175s. It's basically a 200 with knocks outs. They sharpen great with just a file. Use real light pressure after you form a burr and the hair gets scared & falls right off.  :)

Paper wheel or a KME will get them very sharp too.

ACE Super Express are (for me) the easiest broadhead to sharpen, bar none. Just a file, and a small piece of crock stick.....sometimes a piece of leather to strop.

I agree with Roger. Easy to sharpen, mount, and fly great. Can't beat the quality and the price.
