Central Mountain Manti Utah elk hunt

A friend from New Zealand and I drew archery bull tags in the Central Mountain Manti unit this year. Had been applying for a different unit but got discouraged and tried a new unit this year and drew. Would love to visit with anyone having info regarding this unit. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I work with a guy that went hunting in Manti a coulpe years ago. I can see the area from my house. Him and his brother both got bulls in the 360 to 385 range. They used rifles but both are avid bowhunters. They both would be willing to help out. What area did you get discouraged about?

LB, had been trying for Mt Dutton. Had max points to draw in 2011 but the tag numbers were reduced and we did not draw so decided to try Central Manti.
