Why is it when I hear Benjy and squealing mentioned together my first thought is "Deliverance"?  :D    :biglaugh:  Good shooting Benjy and what a great way to get the Honey-Do done, and a honey ham started!

Great story Benjy!  Good shooting and awesome pig.  After taking a sow like that out I bet you'll be invited back to that farmer's land for sure!  That means this is truly the beginning of the story.

That knife is sweet.  I have never seen palm wood.  Very cool.

Now the big question, after all that did you remember to go get your other arrow?

Colin, are you saying that "I" would forget something so I would have to go back to my buddies place, (like this afternoon   :D  ) to get it?  :bigsmyl:

Jeff and Larry Surtees have a few stories about me doing stuff like that!!!

It's really been bothering me about this shot! I think that I have figured out why I thought I missed her. With her being in the field with the clover and the low light situation, the bottom of her chest was 3 or 4 inches below the top of the clover. the arrow hit her at the same level of the height of the clover... Does that make since?

Bill, do you have any tactics that you use to get another invite? Just send me a pm if so, that way we can keep it a secret!

Kris, Bill's bows are sweet! He dosen't have to be a salesman. You should shoot one of his Nitro's! I think mine will have Black Palm limb veneers (are you sweating yet Bill?)

Benjy, I already pm'd Bill about Black Palm wood   :D  He should be ready to discuss it with you. I wonder if it would make good arrow shafting  :p

Benjy,
Just got back from Bear Quest to read this thread...no cell service in La Tuque.  I'm sure glad we got that blade sharpened before you downed that hog.  Would have been a might bit embarrassing

Benjy was Too Kind to say how dull his knife was when I gave it to him.  Instead he asked how I sharpened it!  I had put the final grind finish on the blade and Forgot to sharpen it before I gave it to him   :knothead:
