Fletching glue?

Hi,

Just want to know what glue you folks use to fletch with feathers? I usually use fletching tape  but lately it doesn't stick to the shafts I'm using well. Anyone have luck with glue? I've trief locktite but it doesn't work at all on feathers

We just started fletching our own, and are using fletchtite platinum, it seems to be working well so far. It's easy to apply and sets pretty quickly.

The fletch tite platinum is my favorite for most flrtching. Especially if I'm using boning sealants.

Depends on the shaft. Carbon and aluminum i use gel super glue. Wood shafts with bohning paints/clears use fletch tite platinum. Gasket laguer and polys i use duco. I dont care much for fletch tape but it works on any finish.

Fletch tite platinum here for alum. and carbon and with wraps. It does what it's suppose to so I'll keep using it.

Fletch tite platinum is my favorite glue. But if you clean the shafts well there is no need for anything but tape.

Sinmce I quit using all the Bohning lacquers and paints I quit using fletch tite. Also I don't like the fletch tite platinum near as well as the original fletch tite. Also it costs twice as much. I use Duco now for all my fletching and like it.

When it comes to fletching feathers onto my aluminum shaft or arrows, it's Bohning's Fletch-Tite Platinum for me.

i used to use a lot of super glue for the easy of building a dozen shafts in a hurry, but the durability wasn't there....the stuff is to brittle and they seem to come loose 6 months down the road or in heavy use.

I've learned to take a bit more time and use the Fletch tight platinum and they hold up much better.

i never could get the hang of using Fletch tape myself. but there are guys that swear by the stuff out there.

Duco for woods and any super glue with carbons as long as I use wraps.

For carbons with wraps I use Gorilla impact tough super glue.  It holds up well and doesn't get brittle.

I just switched to the locktite super gel.  Got tired of watching glue dry.
