Adding my picture, halp, halp!

Hokay,
I see many, many posts by various folks here and right under their "handle" is a picture of themselves or something cool.  No I asks, HALP! my simple mind hasn't been able to place such an image of my own ugly mug underneath my name when I post.  I have gone to my profile previously and added "My Picture" from a Photobucket file but durned if that sucker will show up.  So's I implore you, won't you help out an intelligence-disadvantaged dimwit and explain in no-uncertain terms how I can make this work??  Please.  halp, halp!

i believe you have to contact an administrator to have one of your photos added/ approved as your avatar

Jcarter is correct email a 100 x 100 pixel photo/graphic including your member # to [email protected] and ask them to add your avatar.

That little picture is called an avatar.

Gracias Muchachos!  I appreciate the assistance.  I have contacted the almighty Webmaster and put in my request.  A nice picture of my first trad kill and my beautiful Whip hopefully will be showing up soon.  Thanks again and best of luck to all!
