I love my Sheepeater Spirit recurve made for me by Brent Rudolph and Mark Baker...I think Dryad now makes them for Brent....not quite the same as mine..but they are fast, quiet, and at 47" a perfect ground blind bow.....

Would a Saluki with Syias be considered a Static Tipped bow?

This is the EAgleWing Talon 11 in a top mounted limb/. It is the same limb with same brace and same speed and attributes as the belly mount limb./ Both brace at 7 1/4 inch and both shoot same and have same draw force curve/

Matt, Id definitely say yes.  That style takes advantage of the static type Idea through leverage.  Its more static tip than anything!  IMO   :)

Sixby, that is one good looking bow.

Anyone shooting the older static tip Bears?  How do they compare to newer bows?

I have shot a few. Dryad is my pick. I would like a ILF set.  Just need to find a riser I really like. The RER is nice also and I like there riser a lot.
