giant gar with a recurve

Wow, that things is huge.  You might want to check the line around your feet before shooting.  He's lucky that thing didn't drown him.

Gar can get just plain big & scary! Never shot one near that big but have seen them within arm's reach! Wading the Trinity River is minutes from here.

WOW!!  Freakin' phenomenal!  Can't believe the guy fileted it out before getting it weighed on a bigger scale.  I didn't know people ate gar.
