Putting wraps on tapered shafts
«
on:
June 21, 2012, 06:32:00 PM »
Has anyone put wraps on tapered shafts, such as AD Trads? I'm wondering if the taper presents any issues with the wrap not seating properly, or if the taper is subtle enough to be a non-issue.
Thanks!

I put them on ADs, no problems.

I just did on some ad trad lites. I order all my single color wraps from onestringer at 1x10 and then just cut as needed. I found that the wrap cut to 7" worked great with the taper of the ad's.

Thanks guys. I use Onestringer reflective wraps and it sounds like the 1"ers will work with with the Trad Lites.

I don't think there is enough of a taper to make a difference.

Here's a link to the pdf for the AD sizes
http://www.onestringer.com/DOCS/AD.pdf
I've used them and it works best to use a mousepad to roll them on with, he makes awesome wraps
