Charlie Lamb book? UP DATED PROGRESS REPORT
« on: June 21, 2012, 09:37:00 PM »
I have not been on the forums a great deal lately due to work....but I was wondering if there was an update on the progress of Charlie's book?  I sent in my check...and am anxiously looking forward to reading the book....

How close is it to publication?  Any new info I missed?

I have not seen any news lately.  I do know that enough people prepaid to make the project a go.

I haven't heard anything in a while either. But, I'm pretty sure we blew the prepaid requirements out of the water as far as getting it published.

I'm workin my hiney off trying to get this thing to the printers. Editing has been a bit more time consuming than expected but I'm closing in on it.

It would be tough to give an exact date, but I'm shooting for a late summer release at this point.

Thanks so much for being patient guys... I guess reading my stuff has made you all good at it.

Editing, time consuming?  Charlie...as slow as your stories develop in posts you ought to be able to do it as you go.

Seriously....can't wait for my copy.  Hope your preorder's were HUGE!

Charlie's stories had me lurking on TG for the first few years of the web site.  Those same stories convinced me that I should probably join!

You always have to be patient when Charlie posts his stories here..........I'm going to be patient waiting for the book!  That being said, I'm really looking forward to spending some quiet time reading that book!

I'm with Tracy and Danny, no need to rush Charlie.
It's way to hot to start a fire in the stove right now. This read needs a wood fire poping in the background.

I may just pitch a tent, put a coffee pot on the stove and read it by latern light. That way I can hear your voice better bud  :wavey:

K.S.and all:

My intent in this thread was not to rush Charlie but to merely inquire as to the status of the project which I sent money to. I believe I have the right to know the status. The original thread stated that it was depending on whether enough orders were received

In good faith I sent my payment, and received no confirmation of my payment nor have seen any post concerning the status. I don't believe it was too much to ask. If you read carefully my post was not directed to Charlie but merely an open question as to if anyone has any info.   If you place an order for something wouldn't you expect to be kept abreast of the status of said item?

Please stop assuming and reading into things that are not there. Felt I had a right to ask about something I paid my good hard earned money for. Excuse me for assuming that was my right!
