Breast tapered and all spliced up w/ nowhere to go!

These are 23/64" Surewood douglas fir shafts. I put a forward taper down to 11/32" in the first 5" and then a back taper down to 5/16" at the nock end. Aerodynamic like a javelin. Weight forward too.

man... folks talk about a bow that's too pretty to hunt with. What about those arrows? Those belong up on the fireplace mantle!

I looked just cause I wanted to know what "breast tapered" was. I'm looking at 4 dozen Surewoods I'm in various stages of completing and thinking I still have a little to learn.
Works of art. If I was the target of a hunters eye, I would feel honored to to take one of those to the heart.

OK, now what bow do I have to buy to match them?
Darn fine arrows!

Been making so many arrows lately can't remember what spine they are! haha I have that info. out in the shop. They are either 50/55's or 55/60's. They are cut to 29" bop.
"Snaggy"....
Thanks for the laugh.
See you guys in Idaho!
