Papa's girl
« on: June 28, 2012, 10:44:00 PM »
This is my youngest grandaughter Livi, she's two. Tuesday she visited and asked Papa to "shoot bow". So I got one of the kid bows and she shot a dozen arrows or so.              I'm one proud Papa!
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

About three weeks ago my 7 year old daughter told me she wanted me to  "take her to the archery range" out of the blue (this is pre-Brave movie).  I did and she had a blast.  Since then I picked up to of the neighbor girls and am teaching them to.  This is the part of being a father I dreamed about.  New Black Rhino bow arrives tomorrow!

Ben, It's a three piece takedown made by a local bowyer Gail Darling called a Darling Bow. This one is 15#@20" 48"AMO and the grandkids love it. It came with an extra set of 30#@20" limbs. Gail does a good job on them.

     :campfire:

I look forward to seeing her and your other granddaughter around the campfire and seeing the expressions on their faces when they see the grandpa I know in action.   :biglaugh:
