I got my first ground hog of the year today with my longbow. Sorry no pics because my home made, Jerry Jeffers "mace" head really made a mess of it.

I got my first one this week also. Hail Mary shot at 45+ yards. Dang thing ran in his hole with my broad head and arrow . Next morning I dug him out to recover my arrow.
Lots of fun, Randy

Bisch, I'll trade hogs down here for ground hogs. Though I have to say when I spent a year in CT it was fun when my roommate's dad would smoke them out of holes under his work shed and we'd try to hit them as they ran through the smoke. Like some sort of special ops mission:)

Groundhogs are a great challenge, especially with a trad bow.
Quite an accomplishment! Congrats.

Seems there is a healthy population around here or the state stocked them. LOL
There are more around but the weather being so hot I don't have the desire to sweat it out. This week at least.
