Point Modification (WW & others)

Tried to find the post before, but system is so darn slow, so help me out - please!!!!

Anybody have a link in how to modify the tip of the WW's to take that "needle" to a better shape?

File - I never do it until a head has killed a few deer and the tip has gone into the ground a few times and needs a little mod.  But if you want to do it right away just file it off a bit

Bob, place the head on a file and pull it towards the back of the head, picking up slightly on the back as you go.  Then do it on the other two sides.  Don't need much off.

Thanks for posting the video links!  I've been thinking about trying Woodsmans this year and the sharpening steps are pretty clear in the vids.  Are the last steps with the sharpening stone and crock stick required?  I mean, are they used to remove the wire edge created by sharpening, or were they shone as alternative sharpening techniques?
