FUN SHOOT ROUND 2
« on: June 29, 2012, 12:08:00 PM »
Wow. Some great shooting in the first round. This week we will shoot only 2 arrows sitting on a stool/bucket/chair at 10 yards. Good luck!

What if two guys get two 10's. Is there a tie breaker?

Hmmmm, don't think I'm getting enough back tension on this shot.  Need to practice this one a whole lot more.  Sitting on a 5gal bucket. Looks like a 14. I shoulda listened to Matt about target setup   :knothead:

I think we should make a rule that warm ups are allowed unless it is specifically stated that they are not. it seems like a lot of the thread starters from both years forget to specify (me included)

Ok, here we go
Week 1 Score of 24

Week 2 score of 14. Ignore the holes to the right. I shot those from 12 yards then came back and read the directions   :knothead:

Here's an 18.

I keep forgetting to get some new plates, so this one's got a few extry holes.

Got a 16 this week  :)  I think I have found my ideal hunting distance, 10 yards and sitting on my behind      :D .

Elknutz's comment about back tension actually helped a lot. Its something I really need to concentrate on when I shoot. Also shooting my heavier bow this week which strangely seems to have improved my accuracy.

i may be aiming a tad small is the 10 a quarter or nickle? mines about a nickel size

Sure show that I have not been shooting.
Keep modifying the bow, hopefully by the time we finish this me and the bow will be ready for the hunt.
14 for me.
