Trad Gang Knife Makers and HOAL

I posted on Franks CheatR knife give away thread that I would like to show appreciation for the effort an awesome group of guides here in AZ have put forth for our HOAL kids...... These guys take a week out of their 3 or 4 month season with no compensation except for the satisfaction of making a few smiles and some of the things they do in the field to make dreams happen are nothing short of awe inspiring.....I've been looking for a personal way to thank these guys and a gift of a knife for one of our kids from Doug Campbell got me thinking what better gift for a guide than a hand made knife and we have some of the best knife makers right here on tradgang.

I have 14 guides that have worked with us over the last two years and I would really like to get them their knives around Christmas.....Here's how I see it working..

I already have 4 knives offered to be made by Frank and one anonymous donor (two each) I need 10 more.
Once the knives are made, PM or e-mail me and I will send you the address of a guide for each knife donated.....

You send the knife with a card expressing appreciation on behalf or tradgang for all the work these guys do..... They are truly the heart and soul of our program here in AZ.....In your card ask them to send a picture of them with the knife that we can post on here to share this with everyone....

In case your not familiar with our program you can see what we do here in AZ at our   Arizona Chapter Website  and at a National level at   Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation

Man, if I was good enough I would love to. Thats awesome what those guys are doing and what your doing for them. But I have only made two knives and they arent that great. But Someday!!!!!

You don't have to make the knife yourself Lewis. If we each just pony up a few bucks, we can buy some knives for these folks. No reason the blademakers here need to eat all the expense. The fact that they are doing what they are in my book means they deserve a little paying business out of this too.

Lewis you make a fine knife. Do not count yourself short. Heck I don't come close to the knife makers on here but if AZMAN says they can use it I'll make it.<><

Stickman, I'm getting ready to start my first knife from a whitetail shed.   I don't know how it will turn out but I'd be more than happy to donate it to a worthy cause.

I was hoping to have it done by Christmas but I can probably find time to get it done by the end of Nov. maybe sooner (things are really busy right now).

If you guys can make a functional knife I guarantee your work is gonna be appreciated by our guides.......Just give it your best.....It doesn't have to be museum quality...   :D  OK we have 7 knives covered including Jeremy and MI_Bowhunter.... ROH if you give it a shot we'll be at 8...... Terry
