I shot several times today.  100 degrees, but not too hot for this former Alaskan yet.

Yeah, but I was looking for opinions from South Texas or other places that this is normal.

106 here... but it's dry heat.
I shot 25 arrows early.  My problem is not the heat but the wind.  Hot air rises with a vengeance in the rockies.

107 here a couple days ago. Reminded me of hunting in the SW, Fl. swamps first part of archery seasons. Only here there is a little oxygen and the humidity is not 100...not to mention if you step in the shade there for a little relief the mosquitoes swamp you.

I shoot late evenings and early mornings..not so bad.

Haha.

We were at the beach all last week. The temps were in the low 90's but high humidity, which is basically normal for home this time of year. It was hot. Came home to 106 degree heat, but unusually low humidity and it was much more comfortable here than at the beach.

Been in the high 90s or low 100s fir a while here. I just keep on shooting. No different than mowing the yard or going for a jog.

Do not worry about damage in 100 heat. I have shot in 110 degrees for years in Australia no problem. We shoot in Alabama with heat indexes over a hundred in the summer. Best get used to the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter......it is your best chance at survival in the future.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

I  hate the heat, I cant shoot in anything over 80.  Its not the heat so much as my concentration.  I dont worry about the bows too much in those high temps though.
Relax,

Alabama summers are hot and humid. I get up at 5 a.m.,drink a couple cups of joe then go out and shoot around 40 arras, then take a mile walk. I'm usually soaking wet by then so I take a cold shower under the hose pipe. It will be over in a few months and I am looking forward to my favorite time of year.

It averages around 119 degrees here for about 4 months and then cools off to around 105 to 110 for about 3 months, so , the weather in the states is not that bad.

Sounds like another 3 days of 100+ here before we get a slight break from the heat.  Never thought I would look forward to low 90s.

It's about 65 in my basement bow range. That's a nice temp for shooting.
As far out outside today in the 100 degree, humid heat? I'll be poolside sipping on a pina colada and not even thinking about shooting a bow outside.   :D    ;)    :)
