Thanks to everyone who shared photos of their bows. I have spent a bunch of time looking at all the photos in the slide show.

I think I have narrowed it down to Osage/Coco or Osage/Tulip wood or maybe Osage/Ebony. I know Osage will be there.

Wife surprised me last night with a early, really early, birthday present...half of the bow cash. So we are well on our way.

What does he use for core wood in the Buffalo limbs?

Big JIm cranks out some mean longbows. I've owned three, still got two,- bout to order anther one......all of them look so good i never can decide what i want, exactly. When i arrive at his shop, I always know what i want, then when i see all the wood choices, i change my mind again!
