I have had them all and can shoot them all equally well.  The one I choose is the low grip It def feels the best to me.  Unfortunanlty your gonna hafta try em all to find out.  My suggestion is to do the demo program with 2 risers one low one standard and go from there.

Try them all before you buy if at all possible, but if you are getting a 58" PCH about 50# get a low grip so I can buy it if you don't like it. I like a lower grip because I can shoot them better when changing to the low pistol grip longbows I shot most of the time.

Asbell x2 but I would try other grips first to see which feels and shoots better for you.

An unanswerable question for which there can be no empirical answer since the resolution abides w/i ones individualistic and personal favor.

It won't be the Ashbel it feels like I'm griping a 2X4.  I am leaning toward the low and I do have big hands.

Unless you plan on keeping the bow forever and ever, I would order the standard grip. If you ever decide to sell it, more buyers will prefer the standard grip.

In my short journey so far with traditional bows I have learned one thing.Try before you buy.The grip is everything if it dont feel right it wont shoot right.

It's a personal preference. I'm a fan of the standard grip. Handled and shot the Asbell grip in Kalamazoo two years in a row and I thought that was the way to go. After getting one with the Asbell the more time I spent with it the more awkward it felt to me, but that's just me. I shoot both longbows and recurves and I never felt comfortable with a low longbow style grip on a recurve. I have a smaller hand and I grip a longbow much firmer than I do when I shoot a recurve, so I prefer a low grip on longbows only.

The low grip feels and shoots the best for me and I have small hands.  I have shot all three grips.  It was the one I shot and thought I would not like.  You need to try all of them to see witch one you like if you can.

I agree with the suggestion of having them send you two risers, low and standard grip. Trying is the only way you will know for sure. I shot the standard grip for 12 yrs. and then the Asbell for 4 yrs. Tried a low grip @ Compton last year and when I order a new Widow it will have the low grip. Take advantage of their try before you buy program and good luck! Mike

For me LOW is the way to go, although I don't have large hands, it just feels better & shoots more comfortably for me.
