Make it work for YOU

Well Gang,
Being relatively new to Sticks and Strings im usually the one asking for help, but I have something to offer to others this time.

I have been using a cheap Allen shooting glove for quite a while and after shooting a fellas Kustom King black glove I decided to buy one. I could not get use to the tips on it for whatever reason. Feel I do believe. Well this glove rocks, and it protects real well on my 57 pound Union Jack but I could not feel my ancho properly. Now these gloves are made of nylon, so it melts. Thats a good property for what follows.

I put the glove on and without pushing my fingers to the end I took the scissors and cut away the solid excess end, then used a  lighter to melt the nylon and pushed the furried ends to gether to seal it to prevent it from unravaling. Now I have great protection, with a good solid feel for anchor.

I hope I have been a help to at least one person today, for I could never give back as much as I have recieved from this site. Enjoy

I've done that with a leather Damascus glove.  Had  too much material at the tips of the finger stalls and I could'nt feel my anchor. Had to resew the seams to keep it together but it really gives me a solid feel now.
