I just switch to 3 under and went back to split after 2 weeks. Maybe not a fair test but this was my experience. Bow got nosy. Me shooting and group improved tremendously at 20 yards. I gap so all gaps tighten up. My point on went from 40 yards to 28-30. My shooting at 30 was way off. Arrows were showing over spined. And they are just a bit. There was nothing I could do to pull them in. Heavier heads, adjust brace height etc. So I gave up quick, Went back to split and it took me a coulpe days to get my gaps back. Bow shot A LOT quieter as well. I believe I read somewhere that you actually pull the limbs unevenly. Something to do with the different string angle.

Bows need to be tillered differently for shooting 3 under. I shoot 2 fingers under and find it to be a bit quieter than 3 under and a bit louder than split. I have gone back to shooting some of my bows split finger, but I find that I still get a really wonky release from time to time, something that does not happen 2 under.
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
