Places to stay near LBL
« on: July 09, 2012, 11:40:00 AM »
Posted this in the TN forum, but thought I would try here as well. Doing my first LBL bowhunt this year - Tennessee side - and wondered if you had any thoughts about nearby cabin rentals. We would prefer a cabin or even an Inn even if it is a little drive from the hunt areas. $100+ per night is acceptable, and preferably room for 3 guys. (We're getting soft in our old age and prefer a bed, hot showers and hot breakfast to the cold ground and pop tarts. ;-)

Thanks in advance for the info. PM me if that works.

You got the Dover Inn on the south side of LBL on HWY 79.  Be carefull last time I stayed there they had radiant heat.  Slow to warm up and slow to cool off.  There are many cabin rental places in know around the Dover area and Paris Landing state park has soem rentals.

I have some friends who own Fish Tale Lodge near Buchanan, just out of Paris, Tn.  You can google them.  Pictures look pretty nice.  I have not been there myself.
