I made my arrows.

Well, I finally made my arrows. I recieved a Doz Western Larch arrows from Jonathon at Kootenai River Archery and also my feathers, nocks, and points. At first look at these shafts the grain pattern was perfect and the coloring was gorgeous so I decided to just Poly over them with no stain. And did they turn out beautiful. I, not knowing any better, went ahead and tapered the ends and it wasnt untill to late that I realized the little pencil sharpener taper tool I have does not taper the nock end correctly, so a little work with the sanding disc and I got that problem squared away.
These pics are horrible but I wanted to post a pic anyway because Im as excited as a school bow with an A on his test. I will try and get better pics this weeked.

Really nice arrows, the natural cock feather sets them off along with the natural finish. Great job

Young love, first love, filled with true devotion...
Sorry, old frat moment. :D
These arrows are a beautiful start to your love affair with wood. There is no practical use for our fascination with wood grain and beauty, but it sure makes life more enjoyable. Shoot them well, and with pride, you did a great job. May your tribe increase and your quivers ever be full!

Nothing quite like a wood shaft tipped with a Zwickey.
Looks good!

That would be Bo Bo aka jingle jangles. He does not like deer season because work and deer hunting are the only things he doesn't leave the house with me for.

Those arrows look nice you did a great job on them.I like tinkering around with arrows. It's relaxing and brakes up any bordem when I can't go out and shoot.
