Memorial Bow
« on: July 13, 2012, 11:46:00 AM »
Had Tom Kelly make me this bow. I had him put the names of my platoon members. That didnt come home from afghanistan deplyoment on the limbs. That way they would always be with me when i was shooting or hunting. Semper Fi

Brock, Nice tribute.  I see the name Joey Garrison. Is that Joey Garrison from New Bethlem, PA? If so, I kind of new him, we had mutal friends and where he lived is about 15 mins from my house. The town gave him a nice tribute by renaming a bridge after him with a nice memorial and plaque.

Semper Fidelis

All gave some, some gave all.

I will be home from my deployment very soon.  I am sorry for your loss but glad to see that you have found a way to keep them close!

I hope you don't mind if I borrow the idea in the future.

What a fine tribute.  Very sobering to see the young DOBs, just kids. Glad you made it home and will carry on their memory.

Hard to see my fellow jarheads that were born after I retired from our Corps memorialized on a bow. I salute you anf feel your loss.  Every Marine loss is felt by those remaining.  Thank you.  I salute you you from afar.  Semper Fidelis,
