I just got this bow in the mail and couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the package this morning. Jim is making a new 2pc that's by far my favorite 2pc system out there. Now about my new bow. As a lot of you know I've always got a couple CENTAUR build dates booked up and if I'm not letting them go to a fellow Tradganger I myself enjoy opening up a new CENTAUR every once in a while.

I spoke with Jim about a month ago and that's when we started coming up with the Wood, Dark Matter and Horn combo for my new bow. The new 2pc needs to have a Dark Matter riser but I wanted something different so I asked Jim to do beautiful Bacote veneers on the riser which when finished gives an accented sight window. Then I wanted some horn so Jim was gracious enough to share a piece of Aoudad Horn that he had been saving for something special. I figured to be a little more difficult I asked him to put the Horn on the finger grooves, tips and thumb rest. Jim also met my last request by puting 3 1/2" Bacote overlays on the belly side of the limb tips. As you can see from the pics Jim hit a Grand Slam with this bow.

I didn't think my day could get any better but then I shot the bow and I can't really explain how well it shot. The bow is so shock free, fast and quiet it's not even believable.

The specs are:
58" Triple Carbon
50@28
2pc
RH
Dark Matter riser with Bacote Veneers
Lots of Horn

I think Jim may just be getting a few calls about his new 2pc bow.

Thanks,

Some of the pics were taken in my office and the others at my home. That's the reason for the different lighting.
