New Custom Shrew
« on: July 18, 2012, 09:49:00 PM »
Man, Gregg really nailed this one.  It is a bow bolt, foam carbon model.  Ziricote and phenolic riser with crazy tri-colored Myrtle veneers.  Of course it shoots great and I am really liking the foam.  I have a boo cored bow that is listed as 1 pound difference but I haven't had the chance to shoot them side by side yet.  It is a Classic Hunter 56" 42@28.  I don't think Gregg even charged me extra for all the times I bugged him while I was waiting for my name to come up.  The pictures aren't the best, I'm not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination, but you get the picture, pun intended.  I'm already thinking about getting back on the list for another Shrew.

Absolutely beautiful. Man can never have too many shrews!

Awesome Bow! Awesome Bowyer and person!
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Very nice, enjoy it
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Thanks for all the great comments, course they should be directed to the bowyer and the Good Lord, the first one put it together and the latter made it happen.  It's hard to believe how well a longbow this short shoots so well sometimes.  If you have thought about a Shrew, get on the list, plenty of time to save the money for one.  Life is too short not to own a Shrew.
