Advantages to being a bowyers son...pics.

Hey Gang, I thought I would show a few of my personal bows Dad has built me over the years. From left to right, my Clovis, the next 3 are Blackfeathers and my new Copperhead. One of the skins on the copperhead actually came from behind the bow shop. The Clovis is going with me to Colorado in a few weeks to chase elk. The Blackfeather with the antler knobs is my son's bow. He is turning 3 next week, so he has awhile before he gets to enjoy it. Bows become special, but being built by your Dad ads something else to it.
Thanks Dad:

Nice bows! Looks like they're gonna be enjoyed for a few generations! Talk about special,...just imagine your kid's kids telling people.."my great grandpa made this bow!".
Thanks for the pics & story - good hunting

Thanks for the interest and the good words. Dad can't get around good enough to hunt with me anymore, but he is with me on every trip I take with one of his bows in my hand. He started my love of bowhunting many years ago and I'll always be grateful of that.

Beautiful bows. Are you learning to build them from your Dad? Be good to keep the tradition going. All the best on your hunt.

Chris your dad does build an awfully nice bow and he's a super nice guy to deal with. I took my first turkey with a bow this year in SD with my Black Feather he built for me. Best of luck on your hunt. I had to cancel my elk hunt with my Black Feather this year due to work.

I've got a brother that has a few beatiful bows, but not as pretty as mine. I try to work in the shop to help when I can, but dad is not easy to please. I'll try to add some more pics of my others when I get a chance. Craig the pic of your turkey is on the workbench as we speak. Keep the pics coming.
