My neighbor found this shed behind the house when he was running his beagles.

Nice, sure is a beauty.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I never saw this buck this year. I killed one a few years ago that had the split g-2 might be kin to this deer. I don,t think anyone say this deer. But they wouldn't tell me if they did. You know how it is.

Decent set of rattlin' horns if you find the match.  Won't have to worry about all those pesky little 8 and 10 pionts running up on you.

oww eee! they do grow them big out there. I'll bet the match is within 100 yards of where that one was found.

This fall a hunter with a bull elk only tag-  stopped into the meat processor where I was working; and asked me if young bull elk were better tasting than old bull elk.
 I said "well the old saying is-'young elk-old moose'". That young elk were better tasting; and that nobody faulted anyone for shooting a spike over an old 6 point.
 He was thinkin when he left to go back hunting.
He showed up a few days later with a bull elk that had a beautiful 6 point rack on one side and a very short spike antler on the other !!!
  Guess the guy couldn't make his mind up- antler over meat  :)
  So- ya never know what the other side of this buck looked like  :)
  I'm thinkin: its worth some searching for the answer !!
