Won't be long now. Just about ready to introduce them. My shop helper Charlie has been shooting one for about two months now and likes it a lot. Says everywhere he takes it, someone wants to buy it  :)
I have just gotten in the new coins I had made for the riser and have loaded the shelves with wood (they were loaded anyway). Just fine tuning a couple of asthetic issues and should be ready in January.
The first and second model of my recurves are part of a 4 model plan. I have adopted the name "Full Curl Series" for the group and individually each model will be named after a North American wild sheep.
16" riser available with limbs making it either a 56" or a 60" bow will be the "Desert Big Horn"
18" riser will handle the same limbs thus making it either a 58" or 62" bow and I'm calling it the "Rocky Mountain Big Horn".

The remaining bows will have to wait.....

I'm so excited, BigJim

Would anticipate this creation to be nothing short of an imaginative offering for 2014.

Hey Big Jim.  Any chance we could see some photos?

I should have photos in a couple of weeks. The only completed curves have not been photo worthy. Just waiting on a couple of riser jigs and it will be ready to go.

wasapt, Yes, my 50's style recurve will be available in one and two piece, but probably not for a year or so.
thanks, bigjim

Now if there was only a Big Jim Hill style, all would be good in the world.

Jim, are you going to have some recurves to test drive at the Pre-Spring Fling in Alabama in Feb. 2013 ?
