Fun Shoot Week 5
«
on:
July 21, 2012, 06:57:00 PM »
For week 5 we are going to take 4 shots. The goal of these shots or what my goal is, was to get the distances to change up in between each shot and make you focus on that spot more.
You'll get 6 warm up shots like last time form 15 yards.
Shot one is going to be at 14 yards standing.
Shot two is going to be at 20 yards kneeling
Shot three is going to be at 15 yards standing
Shot four is going to be at 19 yards kneeling on one knee.
Hope you enjoy, Schafer

Scored 14.
After the first shot was a 10 I was feeling pretty good... Missed both kneeling shots, and pulled the 15 yard shot to the left... Must relax bow arm!!
I am enjoying this way more than seems possible, and it is certainly adding a new element to my practice, but man I wish I was shooting better :(

Here's my 30. It's too humid to shoot and I didn't feel like hunting up a new plate.

Shot in the heat of 97* this afternoon, although not as hot as the center of our nation
A pair of 6's and a four for a grand total of 16... got er done..... :D
the sixes were the 14 and 15 yd shot, the 4 was a kneeling 20 and the one knee 19 was a miss,
little more warming up works for targets but not realistic when it comes to hunting.....

Wifes gone with the camera, shot 6,6,6,4 = 22. I'll add a pic when she gets back. More shooting, less time at the beach is in order!

Okay, so this is FUN right?
I shot the warm-ups and felt pretty good. I took a break and hung up the target I drew on a piece of copy paper.
I then missed with 9 shots in a row, YES - 9 arrows in a row did not even touch the paper!
I will not commemorate this ignomeous feat with a photo.
My week 5 is an official and frustrated 0.

Go to your photobucket page and click on the picture you want to copy. To the right, you'll notice a green box that has a line for "HTML code" and "IMG code". Click on the "IMG code" box. This will automatically copy the text in that box.
Now go to the text box on Tradgang. Click where you want to post the picture and hit the "CTRL" button and "V" at the same time. That will insert the code for the picture automatically.
