10 - the kneeling thing really messed me up, bad news is 15 yards is my best range, shooting does not show it

Another sucky week. I managed two 4's, for an 8. One barely clipped the edge, the other about an inch from the edge. Not worth a pic.

First off I learned a lesson which I already knew...practice shots standing I was stackin' em. Heard an arrow slap together but did not check the nocks when I pulled them. Needless to say on my fifth practice shot my Widow made a bad sound and the arrow landed at my feet    :scared:  Check your nocks!

Anyway, I looked the bow over and things seemed OK. Took my shots, 10,4,6 and a whiff for a 20 this week, little nervous after that I think.

Yeah, you've got to watch that. I'm glad you didn't damage your bow. Make sure you check around the tips for any little cracks in the glass. It's easy to miss them with the string on.

For the fun of it just follow along on your own.
Your guaranteed to,do better than those of us afflicted with facing the target and trying too hard to get a good score.

Sorry about no pictures. I haven't been able to shoot in the past week and a half because of work and final exams for summer semester of grad school. Anyway here are the results after 6 warm up shots:

Week 4: A 4, an 8, a 6, and another 4 for 22.

Week 5: An 8, an 8, an 8, and a 4 for 28.

Well I'm turning in my week #4 and week #5. After my girlfriend witnessed this mess and I was done she had to remind me this is a fun shoot. I love it how she always keeps me on track.

  Bkyrdshooter Week#4 = 16

  Bkyrdshooter Week#5 = 20

I'm ready for week #6 bring it on!!

Wk 5 score = 4. The weather, and me (after being sick) have finally cleared up.  Not that that helped the arrows going where they should.  Clearly I need to learn some humility, as in, be better on my knees.  I completely missed both knee shots   :dunno:

Of course more time to practice would be nice. It is still fun though and there is some mighty fine shooting on display is aspire to.

10, 8, line cutting 8, and a line cutting 6. That's good for me.

Put me in for a 32.
