Hey guys we just got back from Tennesee at the Traditonal World Championships and I won my first World Championship buckle in the modern longbow class. There was 3 of us from Missouri, Jason Burton, Ken Davis, and my self Lonnie Bailey. We had a great time and cant wait to do it again!!!

I shot my Zipper SXT 60" T/D longbow at 51 lbs, gold tip arrows and a big shot shooting glove. As far as tips, lots of pratice and i have to say thanks to Rick Welches shooting class.

Congrats , that is a wonderful accomplishment.
So do you shoot bow straight up or canted. I like Rick Welch but I cannot shoot bow straight up.

Congrats to Don Batten for winning the rib challenge at Ruby Tuesday there in Clarksville TN. he ate a whole Rack three straight evenings in a row... His buckle is in the mail..it' s the top of a Memphis dry rub can from the kitchen

Congrats!
I would have thought that you were gonna say that you used a bow in the 30-40# range with a light arrow setup, instead of 51#. I say that's pretty dang impressive with that kind of bow weight.
