Just wonder what you think of them. Also, does anyone know how much they weigh?

I have used both the X and S nock they weigh in at 26 grains.
The nocturnals weigh in at 20 grains.
Only differace I can see is if the Lumenock is shot and at impact the arrow hits a solid object it pushes the luminock out and the light goes out.
Where as the nockturnal has a switch built into the nock that impact does not bother,a little more cost but worth it in the end.

I've used lumenoks for years but think that the nocturnals are more reliable.

They are lots of fun to shoot and you can really see bad tuning when you shoot them in low light. Or good tuning for that matter.

Switched from Lumenocks to Nockturnals just recently, I prefer having a positive switch to turn them on and off.

I've used lumenocks off and on for about the last year. They work great when they work (which is less than 50% of the time for me). I'm going to try some nockturnals and see how they compare.

I've had problem with about half of the nockturnals turning on before the shot, like about at 10-20" draw.

I tried the lumenocks several years ago and it was a 50/50 chance as to whether they would work off my stick bow. I have recently tested out the nocturnals up at the local archery shop and they seem a lot more dependable.
The only animal I ever shot at with a lighted nock was with a lumenock and it did not work.

I tried them but in the rain they came on in the quiver.
I bought a nocturnal and like them much more
But I lost the arrow to a missed doe
PS. you cant see the light under ground LOL

Lited knocks are not reconigized by Compton or P& Y if you intend to enter animals in either of these recording books
Other than that they are a great aid in game recovery

I use the lighted nocks a lot for wild boar, because they move at the really last light and tracking is a nightmare.
I was disappointed by the Luminocks since they barely lighted at all or just at the release.
With the Nocturnal I had 100% success,no reason to look back.

Another that had poor results with Lumenocks. They worked pretty good target shooting but never stayed lite with live animal kills. I like Nocturnal or Eastons brand. Both have worked flawlessly for me.

I use Lumenocks primarily because it helps when filming hunts. I understand that this would be illegal in some areas and that any "trophy" taken while using lumenocks might not be recognized by some organizations. Bottom line...I am a first (legal) deer shooter, with no aspiration of trophies. Lumenocks don't let me shoot any better.....they just help me (and the camera) follow the arow a little better.

I have read about lighted nocks before but never tried them...so after reading this thread i just ordered a three pack of nockturnals on that auction site...they were only $25 shipped...same price or a bit lower than here locally...and no sales tax.
Has anyone used these with reflective arrow wraps? Wondering if my wraps will glow!

They are not legal to use in more than one state. Make certain you don't get into trouble.
