All big animals and what I see is the lifetime work of a fella that was blessed enough to get the opportunities, and worked hard enough to make them happen.  God Bless

You guys wouldn't belive all the racks in his barn that he didn't mount. He has elk racks hanging from the rafters that would make you drop your jaw.

All the mounts in his trophy room he does his self, Jerry is a world class taxidermest.

He very seldom uses an outfitter except for some Alaskan stuff and the hunts in Canada where you have to use a guide. He does all the work on his hunts himself. That is one way he has so many mounts and hunts so much, he don't have those costs to deal with.

More impressive to me than the animals taken...is the idea that he just loves to hunt and seeks no recognition or fame. His abilities are obvious. I love those guys who get it done and enjoy their successes privately.

Mike...Thanks for giving us a glimpse into the life of a real bowhunter!

I agree. There is so much chest thumping these days....it is awesome to see one of the quiet  guys. I was helping a friend in thier booth at Compton this year, my friend is pretty well known. Probably 10 guys stopped by to show trophy pics...trophies that made our jaws drop. We got onto this topic....that there are probably hundreds, if not thousands of great trophy hunters, and GREAT trad bow shooters that we never hear about.
