New Bow - Thunderhorn
« on: July 29, 2012, 06:51:00 PM »
Well I got this bow about a week ago and just got time to fool with it. I have always liked how the Thunderhorns have looked and they were on my short list. I have never shot or held one and have in the past purchased that way and it didn't end up very well. Well this time it has. This is a fantastic little long bow. Big thanks to Tim Golder and two or three others for letting this one go.

Duane builds beautiful/great-shooting bows!! I had a one piece T.H. which I sold to buy a 3 piece T.H.
Both styles are great shooters, put it to good use & ENJOY!

That's a beauty Tom. I've never shot one, but only hear good things about them.

TJ,

Beautiful bow.  I, too, have a Thunderhorn Heartbreaker 3-pc.  50# 28 that I bought from a fellow TradGang member.   It shoots everything, heavy/light tips, 500 spine/400 spine - everything that I put through her, like darts.

This is definately my go to bow.  I have Morrison's, Big Jim's, Hoyt's - and coming this week, my first Centaur, but I never see myself getting rid of this sweet shooting little bow!

Enjoy!

BTW, really appreciate the hardscapes - the concrete paver patio and the fire-pit.  Sitting out on mine now with a fire going, enjoying a beautiful evening with my bride and our puppy.

I love a good fire!

Neat background for the photos!  Enjoy the new (to you) bow!

I think I have it's twin!   Picked it up at Compton's.   Mine has 53 and 60 lb limbs.   Same woods, same length.  Great bow.

Nice bow Tom!  If the grip was different, I would have kept mine:)
