Shooting glove issue

I have a Martin leather glove that I have been using for the last 2 years. The glove is in a very good shape. It broke-in nicely. But lately, I noticed that during practice, my shots got slopier as the practice went by. Then I realised that sweat had soaked through and made the fingers on the glove sticky and soft. When I changed to dry glove the issue went away. Does any one have this issue?  Is there a glove that does not have this issue?

I have not had any problems with my American Leathers Bigshot glove.

My favorite glove I got from the Nocking Point. Mike designed it , cordura fingers with no exposed threads.
I've been shooting it for 5 years and no problems or wear.
Don't know the name or number but tell Mike Ron Mackenberg sent you and he will know which one.

I've never had an issue with sweat soaking the tips on any of my gloves.  That being said, I do prefer American Leathers "Big Shot" glove myself.

i use american leather too, but try a talc powder in the glove should help.

I use the Neet Traditional glove and the only two problems I've had is that it sometimes dyes my fingers rusty red and the cordovan tips came unsewn. But I glued them back with PlioBond and fixed that. Cordovan is great stuff on tab or glove.

I just buy a case of Damascus gloves at a time, once you sweat them through and you aren't shooting them and the fingers dry out and get hard.  Toss them and grab the next one...

Years ago I had a glove I bought from Niel Jacobson (Bear Paw Bows) that had sharkskin for the stalls.  I had that glove 6 years, it was bulletproof.  I left it on top of my truck cab after a bowhunt when I was taking off "stand clothes"    If I ever find somebody making one like it, I'll drop a hundred bucks fast

Yes, it happens to me also, that's why I made the switch to tab.  Now I get a cleaner release and no more sweat problems.  It has taken me a long time to make the switch though.

I have to try tap. It does not take long to get soaked in 104 degree Texas heat. What about the No-glove nocking point? Anyone here use it?

Funny, I get the same problem with my bigshot glove, but I think it's sweat coming from my face when I anchor it's  been pretty hot this summer. I don't have the problem with my Alaska Bowhunting super glove though.....

I ignored the Big Shot glove for a long time, I didn't think that the nylon finger stalls would give me enough control. But when my release got sloppy, my "coach" pointed out that he noticed in his seminars that the guys using the Damascus style gloves would end up with kind of a blob of soggy leather at the fingertip. I swithed to a Big Shot, and aint looking back.....

Another + for the American Leathers gloves.  The stalls have a nylon strip that doesn't seem to be affected by sweat as far as the release goes... at least not like an all-leather stall.

My last glove purchase was a Bears Paw Speed Glove, I don't know what the material is for the finger stalls but it does not get wet from sweat, that or it doesn't affect it! I have always had problems with leather gloves soaking up the sweat then turning hard when dryed out or giving a non desireable release when wet, not anymore!

I used to shoot Berlin Deerskin Gloves but the quality has gone down hill tremendously. I had 2 gloves wear out in 3 months. I switched over to the Damascus glove and really love it.
