Maybe you could wet our appetites by describing it in detail for us?

Love it! I like the straight grip as it looks classic on a Hill style

NICE!  Congrats.  Love the white glass!  Probably too busy flingin' sticks to post more pics.

Have fun.

Any impressions on how. It shoots? They cost a bit more so does the different limb construction add something over and above a howard hill longbow. I love hill style bows too and it looks great.

Sharp looking bow Ric. What depth is the handle and is it oblong shaped like Schulz grips?

Looks great....so I have to ask, no side plate above the shelf?

Danny,
Is there a specific reason you went with woven glass on the back? If it's not too much trouble I would like to see a pic of the back.

     Thanks, Pat

Tater -
The woven glass is because it is a cc/cv limb design. The back of the bow is actually curved as a bamboo cane with the nodes still visible. David uses the woven glass and lays it to fit the curvature of the bamboo. On other bows, the bamboo is ground flat so they can use flat over the counter glass such as Gordon or Bowtuff (sp). A much easier and quicker build. I'll get some more pics up later for you.

To quote David Miller, "The Expedition is a concave-convex bamboo and glass longbow, a true copy of Howard's personal Longbows. No arrow plate was used on Howard's personal bows, so to be more in keeping with old time archery, your bow has no side plate."
