short bowhunter and waldrop pacseat?
« on: August 02, 2012, 09:25:00 PM »
I have a question for Waldrop pacseat shooters.  I just sold a blind and would like to use that money to buy a pacseat. My question and concer is this: I am 5'6" and shoot a longbow. Will I be too close to the ground in the pacseat to shoot comfortably?

You'll be fine--I am a bit taller than you and shoot bows up to 64" easily from the Waldrop seat.

huntrx, Thanks for the information.  I really think this is going to be the way to go for me.
I'd still like to hear from anyone else that would like to comment.  I also shoot a 64" longbow.

you should be ok, but i don't shoot a bow that long. you may have to cant the bow a little more...... i know that you can't really "plan" what happens in the woods, but try to set up so that your shots are more likely to be on your left, if you're a righty. hard to shift around undetected on the pacseat.
