70" 83# Northern Mist Classic shooting 30" bop Surewood Shafts with 100 grain Woody Weight and a 165 Grain Treeshark. Total Arrow weight is 850-855 grains and flying like they are on a string!

Having had a deer take a step as I released last season, resulting in the lack of an exit wound, I choose to not let that happen again. I don't follow the "Any penetration into the dirt after passing though an animal is wasted" line of thought" I prefer to call it "reserve penetration" A whitetail shoulder will not stop this setup.

I have never had the confidence I currently feel with this bow. Honestly I always wondered about the "It hits where I look" comments till I picked this bow up from Steve Turay at Tannehill back in February. Since then it is like this bow has become part of me. I can't wait for September!

55# @ 28 TallTines, 340 carbon arrow and a 250-60g Abowyers or Snuffer.  Will blow thru anythin in North America at my 30" draw and I have the ultimate confidence in it.  That camo bow goes wth me no matter what my primary TallTines is...it is my good luck charm!

64" Morrison Shawnee Longbow,  55#@30".  This bow just shoots right where I look.  I play with my other bows, but when I am hunting, this bow is in my hand.  ~Steve

when in hand I feel the most deadly with my Browning Nomad Stalker 60# with 2016's tipped with Zwickey Deltas. I've never shot another bow that takes such little effort to hit right where I need to.

my 72# at 27" ( i now draw to 75# at 28" due to form change)
with allum 2314's cut to 29.5 with a 200grn muzzy phantom 2 blade with a hotglue stick inserted on the inside giveing me an extra 70ish grains comes out to around 660-690grains (havnt offically weighed.i hav'nt taken anything with it but it hits where i look at 45 yards. im totally sure if something walks in closer then 40 yards i could make the shot but im saving it for a chip shot hopefully between 10-30 yards. i brought this to my last 3d shoot and shot a 268 first day shooting it 3d i was on the money that day haha.

it sure rocks a target when it hits though

if i have arrows for my 90# in id call that my deadly bow haha
any animal you see posted that i say i personally harvested was eaten

Normally, its my 65# HH Wesley Special, but as a sore shoulder has not completely healed, I may well go with my 55# Cheetah

I have custom long bow that shoot great and I love and hunt with most of the time...but my old faithful is my first bow ever a Martin Mamba 55@28 with wooden shafts...I think it's because I shot that bow for hours upon hours when I first got it... I just know that if an animal walks within 20 yards of me, this side of a miracle it won't be leaving without a small hole in 'em.
There is more fun in hunting with the handicap of the bow and arrow, than hunting with the sureness of the gun. -Fred Bear
