The easiest ones to sharpen would have the lowest Rockwell hardness

That's a problem because retaining the edge can be a critical issue as it passes through the wound channel if it hits bone it can lose its edge.

I would make my choice of head based on toughness quality of construction etc. then learn how to sharpen it efficiently

Having just a little experience in this area, I'd have to disagree with all the above.

Skychief, If you're asking because you consider yourself somewhat sharpening impaired, it's far easier to re-sharpen or touch up BHDs like Magnus Stingers, Steelforce or other heads that come sharp out of the pack than it is to set the bevels and complete the intial sharpening of each BHD. (which needs to be done with any of the laminated tip, glue on BHDs). After the intial sharpening though, laminated tip BHDs are no harder to sharpen than the ones that come sharp out of the pack.

Ray we posted at the same time buddy! I agree with what you said but, taking the question literally... "What is the easiest 2 blade head to sharpen"?... The answer is one that's already been sharp before.

Skychief - I find a BH with a straight edge easier to sharpen than one with a concave or convex edge.

Try a straight edged 2 blade Ace, Magnus or Zwickey with a file and then a steel.

Well that's a question only a guy that has sharpened every one of them would know, but I do know my 13 year old daughter could sharpen a Grizzly with little effort.

Tom, will your 13 year old daughter sharpen my Grizzlies?  I sure can't.  But, I just bought a nice new sharpener from Ron, so I should be able to get them sharp.  If not, I will need lessons!

What Ray said.  Following up on what Sharpster said a blade, once sharp, is easier to touch up and keep sharp than one that has poor grinding and/or has been shot a lot for practice. For me the easiest  heads to sharpen are 3 blade heads. They come with a built in jig.

Grizzlies? Huh!?lol!
Magnus with the Allsharp tool, by far the easiest to sharpen of any head I've tried.

Like Bill said, the 3 blades are easy, too.
