My review:
I really, really like this bow. It has great pointability and "shootability". It's personality just screams "this is a hunting bow". I draw an honest 29.5" (gorilla arms) so I was a little leary about the short length but after shooting this bow last evening and at lunch, I didn't want to put it down. The overall length (56") make it very "tight quarter" hunting friendly. The deflex riser makes it very torque resistant. I was hitting my mark shortly after picking it up. The craftsmanship is flawless. The glue lines are invisible and the various laminations just flow together. Even though this is a short bow with carbon limbs, the overall weight of the bow makes it stable in my opinion. I've owned and shot some short, light bows that were, at least in my shooting style, difficult to control due to lack of weight/stability. With this bow, the overall weight was good and consequently I found the bow very stable. Again, as it said, I didn't want to put it down.
Kent - you definitely have a very good design with the Timberghost. I appreciate the opportunity to review the bow. I will (reluctantly) pass it on to John.
