How far down the list am I? Hope this bow isn't all worn out by the time it gets here? Any new reviews?   :D

The bow is on it's way to San Diego to M60 Gunner CA...didn't put THAT on the package, though. It was a joy to shoot. My big paws recreated the organic arrow rest that others have mentioned, but placing the web of my thumb lower and letting the bow seat itself fixed that.
The fit and finish are as top-shelf as everyone else has said here. It begs to be shot. It will call to you when you are working. It drives an arrow like it was shot out of a gun. Just feels really solid and crisp on release. It doesn't shoot like any other short bow that I've ever used. No stack, no pinch, and quiet as a churchmouse. Thanks for the opportunity to try it out!
Not many pics of it drawn, so ya'll ignore my thumb and keep your comments about backtension to a minimum... I know.

Longbows, you see, do not make mistakes…there is no tuning to distract attention from the task at hand or provide excuses when arrows wind up in places we did not ask them to visit.

JLyLe, with those big arms, I'm not giving you any guff! What arrows did you shoot and what weight do you usually shoot? I'm getting closer  :D

I will be on the lookout for the bow. It is supposed to cool down a little next week in the mountains. We are resetting our 3ds this weekend. A perfect combo.

Thanks for the review and pics James, glad you liked the bow other than the "organic arrow rest", I'm extending the shelf from now on.

Sounds like good timing Tom. Let me know how she treats your 3D targets.

I would like to get on the list if you do a lefty also (that can handle a 31" draw!).

I had a great time shooting the bow over the weekend. My pictures did not turn out well as the weather went sour on us. Drizzle for 2days. I had no trouble shooting my carbons as well as my woods. I even shot my 2020 alum. with out any issues. I did tune the bow for me, ie. brace height, nock set at the bales. Then I tried my hand at the 3d pop ups we had at our shoot. I found the bow to be very handy when trying to keep up with the targets moving up and down.
This is the first time I was able to shoot lots of arrows in a short bow. I didn't know what to expect at ranges over 30 yards. I was pleasantly surprised to find I did not need to make any changes to my shooting style or sight picture. I was able to keep the arrows in the kill zone when I did my part.
I want to thank Kent for the chance to shoot his "Timber Ghost" bow. The bow will be on its way to New York today.

Thanks for the review Tom. Sounds like she worked out pretty good for you. What brace height did you end up shooting it at?Glad you got to try it out on the 3Ds. What kind of bow do you normally shoot?
Tom also found the nock point set for 90 deg which could have caused a lot of the "organic arrow rest" effect for JLyle, not sure how long it's been tha way.

I had the brace height about 8in. That worked with the arrows I was using.
I am one of those people who may not shoot the same bow or arrows two weeks in a row unless I am going hunting. This year is a bust as far as hunting goes. I have to take care of my new hip. I have been shooting my 64 lb. Pete George lately. I will stick with it for a while longer. Then back to my Wes Wallace long bow.

Steve is planning on shipping the bow tomorrow if the PO has reopened. Should be on its way to you soon.
