I am looking forward to receiving mine. Should be the beginning of next week as long as the storm doesn't blow the mail truck off her route!

Following this thread myself. I'm up for a Medicine Point very soon. I actually have been 'working a plan' for a long time. I finally acquired a fantastic piece of heavy-grained cinnamon colored chechen, which has layers of warm color, and even a gray-sage effect. The grain and color is unlike anything I've ever found. I'm combining it with veneers of custom yew with much wavy grain and black pin knots. Add in my own preference in the Medicine Points, and I think it will be spectacular but not extremely gaudy bow. I have to name it...and I'm planning on christening it on a Montana cougar in about a year.

Sounds amazing Kevin.
Please post pics when that bow is built!
I'm thinking about having Dale build me a bow too. I'm fond of dark rosewoods / Ebony / cocobolo with no medicine points.
ALL his bows are legendary but I am very fond of his one piece model. My favorite take down is and always will be Fred Bear take downs.
My "Swift Medicine" just may be the finest bow I ever shot.

Mike,your buddy can't do this to you.LOL
I can't wait to see Kevin's.
Philip, all Dale's bows are stunning, but IMHO,the Pierce Points make the difference, not many bowyers offer this feature and I think they are his trademark and worth the additional cost.

Felix and many others are an inspiration to me when it comes to beautiful and imaginative custom bows. I enjoy coming up with the 'next big thing'...and then watching someone else go 'one-up'. These are the golden days of traditional bow art and crafting.

Kevin, you are too kind, but I really think that everybody here is helping to design and build better bows. Before the Internet the bowyers made bows alike for years and years,in few years of this and other sites everything is evolved and improved so much.
I am going to open a special bottle of red in your honor,Kevin.LOL. Lunch time here noone aound!

Bring one of those bottles to Ohio Felix. :D . And Kevin after reading just some of your hunting stories the only tail lights I see are yours. David's love for bows saved me big on a steak dinner.
My new Dye will have hair from three of my past K-9 partners in the riser. It's going to be a special bow.
