Well two 10's did not equal a pattern. Shot #3 was a 6.

Shot #4 will be Wednesday night. Currently, sitting on a 26.

I wrapped it all up tonight in between other tasks.  It was almost dark by the time I finished.  Three 4's, all high and a good 8 for a 20.

So finished up tonight. I thought this would be an interesting one.
I learned a few things;
1. When I shoot off my knees I shorten my draw and shoot low. Need to work on that.
2. When I cant the bow I need to angle my head as well. Need to work on that.
3. Need to have confidence in the first shot and reach anchor properly. Need to work on that.

So here is the result. A total of 18
Shot 1. A line cutting 8 but I will take it!

Shot 2. A 4  :(

Shot 3. A 6

Shot 4. A big fat miss  :(    :(

All good stuff, still looking forward to the next one and have learned a few things to practice  :)

So it has been a week of catch up for me (as well as needing to buy new plates)...

WK 7 - that was hard, I guess the elk are safe from me.

Score: 6

WK 8 - started well but kneeling, bending and crouching don't do my anchor point and aiming any favours.

WK8 Score: 22

Like my mate Dogboy says, "I've learnt a few things..."  Ditto to his ones, plus I need to be more sneaky, as I really shouldn't take the shot outside of 12 yards.
WK8-1

WK8-2

WK8-3

WK8-4

I was able to get this done today taking shots between items on the Honey-do list. Did a lot better than I thought I would. Shot 2 was from behind a tree on the edge of the lawn.

Total was...32 points

Love those targets!  I'll take a few...  That's the biggest thing I procrastinate every week, drawing up a simple target.

Finally got the last arrow in this morning
2 8's
1 6 that barely missed another 8
1 4.  Shot that one on the way to work today  Mental game was gone.  I've noticed that a cold shot only struggles for me mentally.  If I take a second to get my brain in the right place I do good. If not, the arrow wanders with the mind.

This is what i have. If the ones that only have 3 weeks in don"t catch up this week I"ll probably delete them and try to fit on one page.
