Bow quivers are the best fit for me. I like great northern quivers.

I like a 2 arrow quiver on my bow, and carry extras in a back quiver.

I didn't want a bow quiver but just seemed the best for hunting so I put a Big Jim's on my Toelke whip and I'm liking it so far. Easy on and off and pretty light weight.

I've tried most styles, and my current favorite is a side quiver (Safari Tuff). I love the look of a traditional back quiver, but other options are better for me when I am hunting. When I'm stumping, I use a back quiver or a side quiver. I have used bow quivers over the years, and still do occasionally, but keep going back to the side quiver. I like the Big Jim quiver if I do use a bow quiver. Shedrock's quiver looks cool, but I need more arrows than him. And, if I wasn't quiver poor already, the Farr West Leather side quiver is about as cool looking as they come. Maybe I'm just fickle.

I don't like bowquivers on a longbow. Longbows have such a low mass, I feel that the weight of a bowquiver just doesn't feel right on them.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

I just can't seem to get myself to put a bow quiver on my Toelke Super D. It just doesn't seem right.

To each his own, but I think a bow quiver on a longbow is really out of place.

I use a slip on Selway or strap on Eagle's Flite on which I modify the lower arrow gripper to hold the arrows like a Selway.

Bow quiver for me.  I like the added weight to help settle things down a little...

I have never liked a bow quiver on a longbow, as it just seems to screw up the balance. They are convenient, though.

That's for you to determine. Due to the increased weight, bow quivers actually make a couple of my lighter mass bows easier to shoot. Depending on the situation, I switch back and forth between bow mounted quivers and a bow mate elite.lol

Hy Hill bows dont like'em but my Shrews dont care at all, that little bit of weight steadies them a little too.
